I am plein air enthusiast and can't wait to share my knowledge and tips with you!

This two day plein air workshop will take place on the property of the beautiful Sanborn Mills in Louden, NH.  Join me for a two day immersive workshop learning how to use the medium of soft pastel in the great outdoors. You'll learn everything you need to know about using pastel outside. I'll demonstrate how I simplify the scene and the use of thumbnail designs. You'll acquire the knowledge of how to apply pastel and the different outcomes you can achieve with underpainting, toned paper, etc. 

There will be an indoor studio space incase of inclement weather. The maximum number of students is 12 and the workshop is open to all levels. I'll have paper available to purchase, along with some soft pastels. 

I'll be touring the grounds in the spring of June 2026, so more information and photos to come! The farm is 350 acres with 25 buildings and active mills. There's a beautiful garden, horses, oxen, and so much more to choose from for pastel painting options.
